Restaurant Review

Though The Floridian is known for its full bar and kitschy decor, the food should not be overlooked. Most options are offered with a tofu alternative to meat and many can be made vegan. Though the menu is small and not for the very picky, they are very talented at blending texture and flavor into satisfying meals. The portions are generous, so don’t feel cheated by the prices. The Indian Salad was our favorite, but the soup of the day was a Cauliflower & Purple Potato blend that was surprisingly hearty and delicious. Parking is a little difficult, due to its location in Old Town St. Augustine, but the food is worth it. Take a walk on the fort just a few blocks away if you get the chance.
