Restaurant Review

While in San Antonio, TX this summer, we had the opportunity to eat at Green Vegetarian Restaurant. May there be many more opportunities. A review could be done just on their vegan cupcakes . . . This outstanding, eclectic restaurant with outdoor seating has an extensive menu that can all be made vegan. We selected the vegan nachos, Cece’s Stir Fry and the Jalapeño Cheese Greenburger. The nachos were made with Diaya cheese. This surpassed my previous experiences with non dairy cheese. I’m not sure why but the plate was emptied in short order. The ingredient in the stir fry that everyone commented on was the popcorn tofu. Very tasty. The Jalapeño burger was huge and can easily feed 2 people. The chipotle mayo was delicious. We sampled the Hostess Who? cupcake which of course, was delicious. When I go back . . . someday . . . I want to order off breakfast menu. All in all a very tasty experience.
