On my recent trip to New York I had a great, simple, and fast meal at Terri. The establishment is named after the first name of the founder’s mothers, Terri. When I walked in I was surprised by the names on the menu, pulled pork, buffalo chicken, meatball sub, bacon cheddar ranch, philly cheese steak, fish filet, southwestern chicken melt. These items were all vegan. I had the pulled pork which was a barbecue flavor. The texture was excellent and the flavor was derived from the cole slaw. I could have used a little more barbecue flavor. My wife tried the southwestern chicken sandwich. The sandwich was well put together with guacamole and corn in a warm sandwich.

The highlight of this healthy eating nook was the juice. I tried the Spice of Life comprised of pineapple, apple mint, and jalapeño. This juice was unique to the buds and very refreshing. The menu also had salads, wraps, and desserts. I spied a nearby salad and it looked great.

If you are in New York and want lunch or a light dinner, give Terri a try. Their motto is local, sustainable, and plant based. For 15 dollars, you will leave satisfied.
